Photos of then new gated signals and a pedestrian gate from July 2008.  This setup was installed in May 2008 replacing an old pair of gated signals and very old pedestrian gate.  The old signals had 12"x20" incandescents, WRRS gate mechanisms, and a GS Type 2 E-Bell, but neither had pedestrian gates which the new mast signals have.  The newer pedestrian signal was put in service in April 2008 before the main signals were installed.  The old relay bungalow was still in place at the time.

In mid 2015, blue DOT signs were added, and the crossbucks and track signs on both signals were replaced.
In late 2015, the road was resurfaced and a median was added in preparation for Rochelle to become a quiet zone.

The southern signal.  I'm not sure why this has a pedestrian gate.  There's no sidewalk on this side of the road.

Just east of the crossing is scrap yard for BNSF crossing signals.  They did a lot of replacements recently (as of 2016).  Two of the gated signals and two of the gateless signals came from Flagg Center as the road there was recently upgraded and the signals were replaced at the same time.  I'm not sure where the cantilever came from.  The only crossing I can guess is Dugan Rd. in Sugar Grove, but it still doesn't match the cantilevers that crossing used to have.

In early 2017, the old relay bungalow was finally removed.
