Re: Mechanical Bell Map (North America)
For the past few months, I have dedicated myself to mapping out mechanical bells left in the US. It is nowhere near finished, but it is a significant start and I figured some people could find this helpful. If you have suggestions for what area/subdivision I should map next, let me know below. http...

Re: Crossing Gate Contact
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FaKDJTZ7WE Gee, another of those craptastic weird font crossbucks UP uses that was misprinted. I'd be asking whoever printed these for a damned refund by now. :LOL3: From what I've heard, those ugly font crossbucks are made by NEG. Yes the same company that makes tho...

Re: Do you miss Kmart?
Sorry for bumping this topic, but I really do miss Kmart so much. There were 2 stores located in Independence with one being on Noland Rd right next to I-70, and one on US Route 24 next to MO Route 291. I've been to both stores when I was a kid. The one on Noland Rd closed up around 2016 if I rememb...

Re: My latest edition to my crossing bell collection
Vids I've took of both the Hybrid and WCH ringing on National Train Day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVMI1PZNWGw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7XYWqA2qSk I will be doing some work to both the WCH and Hybrid since they do both need a bit of TLC done to them. As you can see with the Safetran me...

Re: My latest edition to my crossing bell collection
Update. It turns out my hybrid does work albeit a bit flat. Not only that, but I did also recently get a 1st gen wch mechanical bell from the same seller I bought the hybrid from.

Re: STB Approves CP/KCS Merger
The merger is definitely going to make not only the KCS Mexico Sub more busier, but also the Pittsburg/Heavener Sub, and also the CP Kansas City Sub which starts at around Air Line Junction then crosses over at the diamond with the NS KC District. I heard word from a friend that the Pittsburg Sub co...
