Re: Signals getting damaged/destroyed
A train strikes a truck here, which destroys a RACO cantilever and a gate.

Looks like this was the crossing, which was an old SCL install:

At least it wasn't the signal with the relay case next to it, the whole crossing (I assume?) would have to be entirely replaced!freebrickproductions wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 2:16 pmLooks like this was the crossing, which was an old SCL install:

I know this is late, but that is crazy seeing that old cantilever being thrown 180 degrees as if It was a baby throwing a plate of broccoli into the air. Shame it was destroyed, but at least it wasn't the one with the mechanical bell.

Here's a dumb Polish truck driver.
Can't tell if it also managed to hit the bungalow, the lights on the first angle seem to shut off soon after the train strikes the truck.

It appears the relay bungalow was on the side he didn't hit, so it could've just been a sun glare, but it did appear the lights shut off. Otherwise though, he pretty much managed to destroy everything there except for 1 pair of lights.

The side(?) mounted lights took a nasty beating here.

Half of the crossing doesn't work here for some reason, i assume the cantilever that is closer must've fused out or something when the gate was damaged.

Re: Signals getting damaged/destroyed
at 0:25, you can see a bit of a destroyed signal, the other signals gate got destroyed too, and then not too long after the new signal was up, the crossing got upgraded.
The crossing is on the site too:
http://www.rxrsignals.com/Illinois/R-Z/ ... ton/River/
The signal on the left was knocked down.

In the beginning of the video, you can see a destroyed crossing. This was in Joplin after the 2011 tornado.
