This crossing is located on the Amtrak Michigan Line, and is at the diamond with the South Shore's mainline.  There's a gateless signal just west of here for the South Shore leaving the street running along 10th St., but it is not intereconnected with this crossing at all.

The eastern signal.  Not sure why the separated masts.  The base on the gateless one appears newer, but the mast seems new on the gate mast.

The western signal.  The gate on this signal doesn't even reach out to the road at all.  It only covers the South Shore tracks.  Since there's no room for a longer gate because of the wires, Amtrak would need to install a hinged gate on here, which I'm surprised they haven't done yet.

The relay bungalow in the northwest quadrant.  I forgot grade and track view pictures.  Chicago St. is to the south and 9th St. is to the north.

In 2019, we see blue DOT signs were added.

In February 2024, we see the old South Shore mainline was moved away from the crossing and off of street running to the south slightly. In the process, Amtrak finally lengthened the gate on the western signal to actually cover the road. At first, a new gated was installed with diagonal striping, as seen here, but then was changed to vertical shortly after. Aside from that, surprisingly nothing else has changed.
