This crossing was located on the South Shore mainline and was at the east
end of the 10th St. portion of street running in Michigan City.
This crossing was one signal and was on 10th St. itself as the tracks
curve to the right to leave street running and proceed to the 11th St.
trackage. The signals in the background in Picture 1 are on the
Amtrak Michigan Line and are not interconnected to this crossing, thus
they do not function as a double crossing.

Low quality Streetview images from 2007 showing one gateless signal with 12"x20" Safetran Fading LEDs and a Safetran Mechanical Bell. By this point, a new foundation had been installed to replace this signal. Shortly a new gateless signal was installed.

Several
relay cases around the crossing. I'm not sure which is specifically for
this signal. The Amtrak crossing is also seen.
