The relay bungalow in the northeast quadrant. The grade is all concrete. Track view facing east towards 680th Ave. Track view facing west towards 650th Ave. #1 in Nevada.

On May 21, 2024, a tornado had come through less than a mile from here, hitting the tracks and bridges on the UP Mason City Subdivision and the UP Clinton Subdivision just west of here.
A return trip on May 22, 2024, by Hopen111 finds that the crossing had malfunctioned!

The crossing in action!
The new rails seen on pictures 17-18 on the side of the existing mainline were installed at some point in picture 19! The track date is now March 2023.
This crossing was left constantly on. There were no trains in sight, and the crossing never deactivated in the time that I was here.
Something very similar to this happened at S Ave. in Boone before those signals got removed.
