Overview facing west.
|
The
western signal. This had a US&S cantilever, 8" US&S and 12"x20"
Safetran lights, a Safetran base, a Safetran 1990s gate mechanism, 4"
RECO gate lights and a WCH Mechnaical Bell. Also, note how both signals
still have their old white DOT signs in addition to the newer blue ones.
|
The eastern signal.
This had a very strange US&S cantilever, 8" WCH and 12"x20" Safetran
incandescents, a Safetran base, a Safetran 1990s gate mechanism, 4"
RECO gate lights, and a GS E-Bell.
|
The western ped gate. The ped gates had Transport Products bases and Transport Products gate mechanisms.
|
The eastern ped gate. Not sure why both gates are lowered so much in their raised positions.

On November 4, 2016, I found these new signals sitting by the Washington St. crossing.
I didn't know it at the moment, but these would be going to this
crossing. They'll be newer cantilevers with 12"x20" GE Uniform Look
LEDs inside Safetran frames.
|
The next day, I came
back out to get pictures of the old signals with new bases by
them. I didn't see any next to the pedestrain gates, so they may be
staying, or they'll just be removed.
As for the old signals themselves, the white DOT signs were removed and
the blue ones were turned to face forward. Also, the speaker on
the GS E Bell got damaged somehow.
|
By early 2017, the new signals were
installed and activated. However, the pedestrian gates were
removed with no replacements.

The new eastern signal. The Type 3 on this signal keeps ringing while the gates are lowered while the other one does not.

Parts from the old signals laying by Washington St. There's 2 more Safetran gate mechanisms in Picture 100; I'm not sure where they came from.
