Hi folks,
Recently NS has been on a Replacement streak for any crossing without a bell. Originally the new setups featured Invensys Gate Mechs, Safetran 12x20 Lights, and a Safetran Type 3 E-Bell.
But on three different new ones from a couple months ago they used Safetran Gate mechs and GSI type 2 ...

There is a lot of Safetran Hybrids in my area, There is was to much!!! They are commonly seen on the CSX crossings on the Erie West Subdivision, There is a couple on the NS crossings.

So those are the people responsible to the elimination of the buckeyes? :Curse1: Grr..... one week a local crossing has buckeyes the next a standard cross buck with a yield sign.
The buckeyes are very visible and were an Ohio specialty. Oh well if any one needs some detail shots i've got some laying ...
