Looks like that forklift, which would be hard-pressed to go beyond those yellow pylons anyway.

I speak my mind, if you don't like that oh well. I'll have you fill out a hurt feelings report and submit that to my office.

What is a "gate guard"?TRAINMANKIGHT wrote:... Fec is know to have some ridiculous setups they even put gate gards on the pedestrian gates
What does it do?
Years ago, I told a signal maintainer thathey should put a sawtooth pattern on the bottom of their gates: \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/
It would be harmless, but look as though it would inflict damage so that few would try to run descending gates.
But they should also have 6 seconds of signal activation before gates begin to descend.

Anybody notice the price of gas at the Shell station? Seems pretty low... especially for Miami. Wonder how long ago GSV was through there?

its pretty simple what it does watch the wch gate gard video
SHIT they have 12 second activations in Canada and a few U.S. locations it doesn't do a damn thing peoples reaction for when they see lights starting up is to hit the gas instead of stopping. thats why the set "standard" is 4-6 seconds
notice the only time people stop is when the gate is coming down
anyone who crosses the track 3 seconds after the lights start up is a violation
my point right here
what railroads need to do is add cameras to the railroad crossings and fine anyone who runs the gate, Union Pacific and a city in Texas are doing that check this out.

Thank you so much, TRAIN, for the interesting videos and link.
Hope the trucker was fined.
He.asily could have stopped.
He would have broken that gate had it not been hinged.

In this link... that Mustang was going the WRONG WAY. He started to back up as the video ended... wonder if he hit the other gate? Either way... hope he got a ticket too!TRAINMANKIGHT wrote:what railroads need to do is add cameras to the railroad crossings and fine anyone who runs the gate, Union Pacific and a city in Texas are doing that check this out.
