What is your layout look like or is going to be like?

Discuss model railroads here. Model signals are ok too.

I have changed my plan completely. I plan on making a switching layout very similar to what is on DGNO's tracks.

I have a dream layout, but it would take ages for me to draw one up. The main part would be 8' x24' with an extra 4'x8' or larger for an additional project.

The layout would have at least 25 crossings.

Are you thinking something like DGNO, or San Joaquin Valley, or just a main line with few spurs?

None of the above. I'd be going with ATSF or SP (or SPSF if I can get my hands on one) with Amtrak for passenger service.

Half of the layout would be roads and lots of crossings. The other half will be a combo of a rail yard and more roads/crossings.

The other board would be a very interesting project, a bit different...
