Haunted railroad tracks?

Can't have signals without railroads, so talk about your favorite locomotives, railroads and any other (non signal) railroad related stuff.

Haunted railroad tracks?

Post by Trainmanalex2 »

There is the story going about that in the 30's or 40's in San Antonio TX that a school bus with 10 children stalled on railroad tracks ( OWNED BY UP ) and got hit by a train, there were no survivors. TODAY, if you somehow go to the actual site of the road that goes straight right before the crossing and put the car in neutral while it is off you are supposed to move over the crossing. Speculation has led many to believe that it is the kids who lost there lives and that they are pushing your car to safety to prevent a tragedy such as there own, and after you cross the tracks if you put flour on the back of your car, you can see fingerprints. People believe it's the children's prints. My friend went there a week or so ago and he went there at night and he said he heard laughing that sounded like kids when he got out of his car. It might just be a gravitational pull or it could be downhill but I have no clue.

I went there during the summer. It did move us toward the tracks, but there was a 2% downgrade.
