Another Damn Quiet Zone (Oconomowoc, WI - Canadian Pacific)

Last minute train watching with video camera in hand before the whistle ban took
effect 12/1 at 12:01am:

2nd to last thru: 22:50 #299 CP 9835-6006

Last whistle blown: 23:25 #291 CP 8713 - Soo SD60 red - Soo SD60 white

First thru with ban in place: 24:03 #499 CP 9656 - Soo 6051

Just not right with silence preceeding a train.....

I have been to multiple quiet zones, Amtrak usually ignores them.

Amtrak blows the horn all the time out here mainly when entering and departing a station.

I hope Amtrak blows the horn. They're going faster then freight!
