I doubt it gets much use as the line ends just past the silos.

Not a big deal now since the crossing is just about defunct... but in it's hayday there should have been 2 separate sets of signals in my opinion. Way too much of a gap between the tracks. People would be tempted to drive around the gate when they see the train on a track a block down from the signal they are sitting at.
