I just got the Nikon D5100, I can't stand canon anymore.
Love the Nikon 16MP pictures and 4FPS pictures.

I love my D90, but wish it had higher ISO capabilities. I like doing night stuff a lot, but a tripod is frequently in the way or too time consuming. Also, A lot of what I'l like to shoot moves too fast for the shutter speeds I can get at the highest clean ISO the 90 can give me.

As you can see from the link, the D4 kills on ISO. It will on price too...

The two oil rigs were taken at ISO 1000, the loading rack at 800. I didn't go any higher to keep the grain and noise to a minimum. No flash or tripod. I had to adjust the white balance on the loaing rack shot, as the entire area was lit with sodium vapors.

Need anything faster than this, you should get a video camera. Although the D4 will do video...
