We've gone back above the $2 mark over here. Most stations are averaging around $2.05.

$2.35 here. And there's talk about raising the state gas tax 12 cents! :No1:

There's talk in Massachusetts to raise the state's gas tax. Supposingly it's all to go to the highway authority so they can eliminate the tolls and still continue to maintain roads. Currently NY has the highest gas tax in the nation (what a surprise :Roll: ).

The local news said that it'd be raised by 27 cents to become the highest in the nation, and that NYS currently hold that title, but gas tax websites disprove that fact and all say California currently holds that title...

A federal judge has recently declared Wisconsin's "minimum markup" law unconsitutional after 70 years. It was put in place with the intention of helping smaller stations stay competitive in their pricing, but had the effect of making it next to impossible for consumers to get a significant discount on gas because all stations in a given area had almost the same price.
