Here's a video I put together with a tour of one of the brand-new Talgo Series 8 high-speed passenger trains built here in Milwaukee, along with interviews with the shop manager and the CEO of the company.

They're cab cars, they have a small diesel engine in them for head-end power, but that's it. The other end of the train will be coupled up to an Amtrak P42DC or F59PHI.

...and yeah I agree their look is an acquired taste, but they've grown on me. :cool:

I wonder if they did focus-group studies on proposed exterior designs. If so, they obviously didn't include railfans in their groups! :LOL:

However, the interiors of the trains are really nice as you see in the video.
