Talk about other non-signal stuff here. Make sure to obey the rules though.

Also my brother inlaw is a Smyrna Tn Police Officer
but if you wondering what siren he uses itsa
Federal Signal Smart Siren SS2000SM with configured tone Priority
and that siren ties in with the light bar which is also FS
and in the south the lights are ONLY blue on police cars

I speak my mind, if you don't like that oh well. I'll have you fill out a hurt feelings report and submit that to my office.

My other interest, aside from weather, is fire alarms, which of course, emergency vehicles often respond to. I do know a lot of people who have an interest in sirens. I don't really have an interest in sirens, but I do just enough to know what the siren used in my town is (Federal Signals Modulator).

I can't find any decent photos of Multnomah County, Washington County, or Beaverton Police cars.

Here is an Oregon State Trooper police car. They have started adopting the Dodge Chargers but the Ford Crown Victoria is still standard fare.

And a typical Portland Police Dodge Charger. They still have Crown Vic's but these are becoming more common. Notice the Publicly Owned license plates. These are unique to law enforcement vehicles.

You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.
