C'ville Crossings

Post by signal-in-the-box »

I have pictures, now, of the simple 2-lane & 2-track crossing at 2nd St. This is how most of them are, because except for 1 or 2, all of the crossings at major roads are on bridges.

The crossing stuff here consists of WCH signals, gates, & bells, with WRRS signal mounting.

Awesome photo. To me its a bit strange that that railroad uses wrrs brackets on new WCH Lights.

It's not uncommon at all for railroads to use old parts. There are some signals in my area that got upgraded last year (new gate mechs and new LED lights), yet they still have mechanical bells. I've also seen an installation with RACO/Griswold brackets holding up Safetran lights as well.
Crossing pictures from Plant City, FL are finally here! viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2538

Well that is very interesting. Thanks for the information. At least I learned something new.
