I put my detective outfit on and Google'd the phone number on the sign in the picture. It looks like the signal is in front of a Mexican Restaurant and the address is 3318 Forest Ln, Dallas, TX.

Here is that signal on StreetView: http://goo.gl/maps/3jsaZ

Your welcome.

Here is a good picture of 2 Griswold signals with their original Griswold lights on them: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 05&nseq=24

The few signals of this type out there that are still in service... the lights have usually been "upgraded"... like the video I posted.

You can find some clips in places here from Ames and Boone back in the Cheap and Nothing Wasted's days...

I remember the good days in the early 80's when the Clinton and Boone subdivision crossings in Ames, Boone, and Nevada were littered with these and WRRS wig-wags... before CNW went crazy upgrading all their crossings along the line.
Well, :Censored:

This one on page 1 of this thread. The lights are now 12 inches and are LED's. Not original to this signal obviously.
