Fairly Odd Signal
http://www.flickr.com/photos/95470160@N08/10321838323/. Anyone know why the installed the gate that way? My guess is that it's because it is a pedestrian signal but I'm not sure. There's a similar setup at the Hillsdale Caltrain station.

Instead they'll just trip over the gate and sue the railroad for that.

So in that picture I wonder if the gate is going up or down? Are they running to try and beat it? Sure looks like it to me.
The guy way behind will probably have to jump over it since they have all that fencing up keeping you from going around it when it is down.
