I'll jump in again now that my posts aren't taking five minutes to go through and terminating in "the page cannot be displayed" errors half the time.

This is Soo Line 4419 leading the CP's Madison turn back to Portage on the one day a week this train runs in full daylight (a practice that started just recently) passing a former grain elevator converted to a residential structure at Poynette, Wisconsin on 1/31/2009:

Taken a couple of years ago, here we have a NS manifest going through Griggsville IL with a NS primer, a BNSF pumpkin and a SOO 6057. My Dad and I were going to Missouri, and we have only been stopped a couple times at Griggsville. What a surprise this was!

Two Hudson Bay's (HBRY) and a very rare treat, NKC 3 (CF7) which hasn't been to Ottawa in more than 2 years sit waiting for the crew to take them to Eola. Click on the link for more information and a bigger pic.

Here's mine, this was taken on this past friday on our local branch UP's Hollister Branch. The branch normally only see's trains of 10 to 20 cars pulled by one or two geeps twice a week. Also the branch is known for having some of the worst track on the whole UP system with a 10 MPH speed restriction on most of the 20 mile branch with some spots dropping down to 5 MPH. But anyway on this day I got a call from one of my railfanning buddys saying he had spotted somthing special on the branch so I headed out to meet him and saw what it was, It was a pair of UP SD70's pulling a long train of welded rail dropping it as it went a very awsome site! These two SD70's were the first six axle units on the branch since SP quit using the SD-9's on the branch in the late 60's or early 70's. for me it was hard to decide what was more impressive the dropping of the welded rail or seeing those SD70's on the branch that I grew up watching Geeps on!

:TUP2:

Also note the Griswold  bell on a relay box. Doesn't ring though.

I never liked the RA paint though. Beaming red sometimes doesn't look too good, though CP Rail looks better.
