Very strange crossings in South West Mexico

Very strange crossings in South West Mexico

I did some more street view searching in Mexico and found some very strange signals. Most crossing in Mexico look a lot like the ones in the United States but the crossbucks are in Spanish, but sometime crossings in Mexico look nothing like the ones in the United States and look very strange.

I can see the post on the other side where the other one of those signals used to be. I don't see a relay case anywhere.

Funny thing is, the track looks reasonably well-kept and likely sees mainline-type traffic. Guess the lesson in this and the other recent Mexico thread is that if you ever travel in Mexico, don't count on the crossing signals to warn you of a train coming up at 50 MPH! :Scared:

That signal had the WRRS bell's gong removed. Must've been some scrap theives who stole it.
