RACO hydrolic gate mechanism

Post by AmcalAJ »

Hey everyone! I was quite curious about some gate mechanisms made by RACO that SP favored. They operated with no counterwheights and were in Back to The Future 3. Dose anyone have any more info or pics of these mechanisms? I saw a tone of these in central valley.

thanks

Two out of the four in Strasburg Railroad in Lancaster, PA are a complete RACO set.

Not everything at that crossing is RACO. The gate lights are LED and the bell-less signal has Safetran 8 inch lights.

Here's a video I took of the crossing:
They/Them for me, please.

Here's my video of Cherry Hill lane.

Though it may look like it, the bell here is actually a Griswold

Also in this video, the bell on the right signal is definitely a Griswold, but the other bell might be a RACO due to the abundance of RACO 8 inch lights and the 2 cantilevers.
