That's one of those Safetran WTF cantilevers. WTF was actually the model name.
They/Them for me, please.

Was tooling around this area due to a derailment that happened in this city over the weekend.

Check out the interesting addition to the advance warning signs in this city: http://goo.gl/maps/NmyEj

Also found an active crossing: http://goo.gl/maps/I0mO7

I've never seen a black GS bell before: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Latonia, ... -2.19&z=18

In other news, you can see HMCR 8933 in the north yard:

Here's an active crossing in Attalla, AL that streetview goes right through:
https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Attalla, ... 9,,1,-2.98
The Alabama & Tennessee train just down the tracks:

They/Them for me, please.

I know the "W" means "Walkout". More information here, in this PDF:

I don't think I've seen a crossing like that with just one mast and one set of lights. I know it's a one-way road and all, but still kind of scary. A big semi in that right lane would completely block that signal for a car in the left hand lane.

If you really want to get technical, the model is WT/F.

It's just the walkout cantilever model name. I bet no one will know why the chose that as the model name.

Found this 8 inch crossing out in the California desert: http://goo.gl/maps/dhuRv

Both signals have a square "Railroad Crossing" sign below the real crossbuck. Also, check out the bell on the nearest signal. Lastly... the other signal has an advance warning sign mounted below the lights.
