I ran across this odd install helping my wife get to a job interview today... I'm wondering if it was temporary due to the construction?

Active crossing in Stevenson, AL. The Google Maps car goes right through this crossing despite a loaded coal train coming!

Also, not too far away is this interesting lash-up leading an empty coal train waiting for the loaded coal train to pass:

They/Them for me, please.

I think the train stopped. Look at this frame: http://goo.gl/maps/DNTiA

The engine headlight is down to low and the ditch lights are off. In the frame before this one, the engine is quite a ways back and all lit up. Looks the the Google car did wait at first.

There must've been a CSX train coming around the corner where we couldn't see it then for both of the coal trains to have been stopped.
