Came across this oddly-mounted one in Nazareth PA: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.751965, ... 9fGQxA!2e0.

What's really odd is that the tracks end about 300 feet down from the road. That old bell still gets some action during switching though... and here is the proof!

I think that this one was posted a few pages back in this thread.

Well, it had to happen eventually. Still a shame though.
I'll be getting to see if the last one here in Alabama is still around when I head down to the Auburn-Opelika area this spring.

I'd react the same way to that as the one that happened to Busch Boulevard in Tampa; it was the only (active) teardrop left in the area that's now gone. :No1:

Nice finds!
I sure hope that they were just re-grading the crossings and not actively closing them when Google came through.

Not sure if these have been covered yet, but one on the Mococo Line was recently posted over on Altamont Press:
D Street in Antioch, CA, with a Model 75 Mech.

Teardrops, 12x20s, and Quadgates in Miami, Arizona. The line in question is the Arizona Eastern.

4 teardrops on one crossing... nice find. If they all work, I would like to hear those in action!
