Amtrak had strobe ditch lights in some of their engines at one time.

Was it the ditch lights that were strobes? I could be totally wrong... but for some reason I remember there used to be strobe lights on top of the engines at one time.

They had strobes on top of F40PHs,I saw another Amtrak engine with strobe ditch lights in a video.It was the engine after the F40PH.
