Bell at the Standish Historical Depot & Welcome Center

Post by ToledoRailfan »

Earlier today, I stopped at the Standish Historical Depot & Welcome Center and found this bell that is activated by a push button, I tried to do some research on what bell it was but I could not find out.

I tried doing that because for some reason, the method stopped working for me.

Looks to be a WRRS bell, but it could be a Federal Signal, early WCH, or even a GRS mechanical bell.

BTW, was there a latch sticking out of the left-hand side of the bell (opposite the hinge)? If not, then it's very likely that it's a MI or US&S mechanical bell.
They/Them for me, please.

That's a WCH bell with a off tone gong.
