Here's something you don't see every day, a searchlight on a crossing signal:
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.9019054 ... 312!8i6656

And here's a video of the crossing by Freedomtowerman for those of you who want to see it in action:

Here's a crossing in the middle of a 4-way intersection:
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.9073316 ... 312!8i6656

And another one:

Even more:

Check out this odd looking signal in New York City: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7258427 ... 6656?hl=en. That's one heck of a gate keeper. And the bell is mounted quite odd as well.

The next crossing over has 2 of these signals, and another random gated signal in the middle of the multiple tracks: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7226693 ... 6656?hl=en

And these are interesting... to say the least: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.716041, ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7165459 ... 6656?hl=en

At most of those crossings, some of the lights look like old GRS lights with GRS Lex-C backgrounds and visors attached to the front of them. I wonder why they did that...
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.904784, ... 6656?hl=en

Also, punching the DOT number at the Walnut Street crossing into the FRA's database says that the line only gets two trains a day and is owned by the Finger Lakes Railway.

There's also a rather nice stand of gated 8 inch signals here with mechanical bells:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9068224 ... 6656?hl=en
Though I do have to wonder what happened to the gate on this signal:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9068389 ... 6656?hl=en
It was still there back in 2009:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9068871 ... 1664?hl=en
They/Them for me, please.

Also, following the line into Seneca Falls, NY lands us some more interesting crossings, such as this one with a really tall mast:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9128486 ... 6656?hl=en
I wonder if it was a wig-wag at one time.

And then we have this classic crossing with WRRS/GRS semaphore gate mechanisms. Never seen these used for anything other than pedestrian gates before:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9136845 ... 6656?hl=en
With these neat little pedestrian crossings right next to it:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9135839 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.91355,- ... 6656?hl=en
Close-up of one of the gate mechs:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9135839 ... 6656?hl=en

Now here's a rather interesting cantilever:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.912343, ... 6656?hl=en
The other side only has a crossbuck:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9127322 ... 6656?hl=en
And another one of those really tall mast signals. There appears to be some rail in the grass next to the signal too:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9125434 ... 6656?hl=en

Another one of these old, odd cantilevers, except this one still has a pair of original 8 inch lights:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.912324, ... 6656?hl=en

Now here's an almost all original 8 inch crossing, with an ancient cantilever at it too:
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9124346 ... 6656?hl=en

Say, who wants to take a road trip with me? :Tongue1:
They/Them for me, please.

Found another crossing in Geneva, NY on the Finger Lakes Railway that only has those WRRS/GRS semaphore gate mechs:

They/Them for me, please.

Here's a classic 8 inch crossing that originally appears to have been on a two-way street:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.406301, ... 312!8i6656

Next crossing over is a 1 signal wonder:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.4060466 ... 312!8i6656
They/Them for me, please.

I came across a Wigwag on the Washington Park and Zoo Railway. I'm surprised I've never heard of this Wigwag before. https://www.google.com/maps/@45.5092986 ... !1e1?hl=en
------------------------------
Here is another crossing, it just has signals made by Scale Products. https://www.google.com/maps/@45.5102134 ... !1e1?hl=en
------------------------------
Railroad Crossing in between two intersections. https://www.google.com/maps/@32.9430518 ... 6656?hl=en
------------------------------
Here is something you don't see everyday. A railroad crossing controlled by traffic signal beacons! :WOOT:
https://www.google.com/maps/@33.063924, ... 6656?hl=en https://www.google.com/maps/@33.0639505 ... 6656?hl=en

There is even a signal for a side street just like sidelights. Notice how this signal is older than the others. https://www.google.com/maps/@33.0639505 ... 6656?hl=en

For some reason, there are no beacons for this track. https://www.google.com/maps/@33.0639115 ... 6656?hl=en
------------------------------
Here is another crossing with signal beacons! :WOOT: :TUP1:
This time it has amber beacons that flash constantly. https://www.google.com/maps/@33.1673043 ... 6656?hl=en The other side has beacons too, but they are used for the advanced warning sign/signal. https://www.google.com/maps/@33.1672591 ... 6656?hl=en

However there is another advanced warning sign on the same side. https://www.google.com/maps/@33.1671683 ... 6656?hl=en
------------------------------
This crossing has a 45 degree crossbuck! https://www.google.com/maps/@33.1727409 ... 6656?hl=en

The other side is just guarded by an advanced warning sign. https://www.google.com/maps/@33.1727316 ... 6656?hl=en
------------------------------
This crossing has two advanced warning signs/signals with yellow signal beacons! https://www.google.com/maps/@33.1755582 ... 6656?hl=en https://www.google.com/maps/@33.1748296 ... 6656?hl=en
------------------------------
I wonder what happened to this crossbuck? https://www.google.com/maps/@33.165062, ... 6656?hl=en
------------------------------
Looks like Google got some plants on its camera. Its hard to tell what kind of plant. https://www.google.com/maps/@32.9430831 ... 6656?hl=en
