I don't know much about Fire and Tornado sirens yet. Is a 508 siren rare?freebrickproductions wrote:Did you notice the 508 siren there?ToledoRailfan wrote: Very rusty signals. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.9695473 ... 6656?hl=en https://www.google.com/maps/@40.9697129 ... 6656?hl=en

I've seen that video. That crossing is similar... but it's not the same crossing that we were talking about. It was this one: https://www.google.com/maps/@32.6859216 ... 312!8i6656brett nc railfanner wrote:Here's is a video. (not mine)
The one in that video does not have quad gates on the older signals. Looks to be the next crossing over: https://www.google.com/maps/@32.6910532 ... 312!8i6656
Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
Interesting... all the gates have these orange and yellow X's on them. I'm assuming so they train operator can see the position of the gates, especially at night: https://www.google.com/maps/@32.6741617 ... 312!8i6656. If he can see the signs, that means the gates are still up.
Here is the crossing active a few frames later: https://www.google.com/maps/@32.6742536 ... 312!8i6656

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
Put the advanced warning sign between the regular crossbuck and the tracks? That makes a lot of sense.freebrickproductions wrote:Some GRS Lex-C 12x20 inch lights:
