Yeah... they're trying to use them as sidelights, but mounted the bracket as if they were going to point them forward. :Sneaky:

Quite a complicated intersection in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The track splits off 2 ways with part of it turning into several blocks of street running. https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0603635 ... 6656?hl=en. Here is a view of a street running train (a few blocks down) in May 2015: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 469&nseq=5

Interesting photo from Pennsylvania in 1985, the tracks are sadly long gone: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 42&nseq=27

I don't think this was covered here before (at least, a search turned up zippo)...

A little bit of Canada has made its way to Attica, Ohio:

Wow, and that's on an NS line of all railways. I think it'd be CN to do that instead. Nice catch!
Crossing pictures from Plant City, FL are finally here! viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2538

Those have been up there for quite some time, too. I got a picture of the eastbound sign back in 2005.

I don't think I've seen those types of crossbucks being used on a signal instead of being on their own. I'm surprised something like that would still be in use all the way into the 1980s.

I remember coming across those a while back on Google Steetview. I don't think that I posted them here though. I remember a couple years ago, someone posted Canadian 2 track signs on an American crossing that I think was also in Ohio. I'd like to know the story on how those signs got there.

This crossing is just down from the display crossing I posted earlier in Pinellas Park, Florida. I stopped and snapped a few pictures of it as I was out running errands Saturday morning. The third gate is actually for a driveway for the back entrance to a police station. It is the only crossing that I know of along this line that still has all 8 inch lights.

I would love to see this in action, but there are at most only a few trains a week through here, and I believe mostly at night, so it may take awhile.
