Very nice. Of all the years I lived in Illinois I was only an hour away from this place. Mad at myself that I never got over there to ride the train or see their signals in action.freebrickproductions wrote:Can't remember if this was posted before, but here's a US&S Teardrop at the Monticello Railway Museum in Monticello, Illinois:

Reason: Removed links of removed bells. This thread is for documenting Teardrops currently known to CURRENTLY exist at the time of the posting. Removed ones do not count.

Nice! If you watch closely... you can see the signal moving just a bit with the motion of the bell.freebrickproductions wrote:Looks like someone recorded that crossing in action recently:ToledoRailfan wrote:Scenic rural crossing in Conneaut, Ohio with a Teardrop Bell.

Turns out Alabama has a second Teardrop! If you look closely on top of the tank car, you can see it:

Slightly closer view:

Here's a video showing the Teardrop. Sadly, it doesn't work:

Heard was disconnected because people in some nearby offices were being disturbed by it. Used to have 8 inch lights.ToledoRailfan wrote:It probably has not worked ever since the lights were removed.freebrickproductions wrote:Turns out Alabama has a second Teardrop!
