Just stumbled upon this as well. Seems like a pedestrian crossing with a fire alarm bell:

Someone forgot to realign the signals after they duplicated this road.

The traffic lights at this crossing are still green even though the red lights on the crossing signal are flashing.

When the Barinsdale was out of service, they used a speed hump sign to warn motorists of the disused crossing ahead.

Here's the last wig wag signal in Victoria being taken down from Chanters Lane on the Daylesford line in 1974:

There's a preserved example at the Newport Railway Museum that still works! :TUP1: Here it is in action:

More neat finds! It's a shame when they replace older equipment

After seeing this video below, I thought I better photograph the crossings that our government is gonna remove... (I'm hoping to the ones on the Dandenong corridor, especially the two Clayton crossings, the Murrumbeena crossing, and Corrigan Road, Noble Park)

Dan's wig wag site is one of the first railroad websites I found many years ago. Lot's of neat stuff on there. Unfortunately it is no longer updated... it is coming up on 3 years since it last was.

Found some more industrial crossings around Newcastle.

This one is at Kooragang and has Westinghouse hybrid bells

https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-32.886 ... 312!8i6656

This one is also at Kooragang, not far from the first crossing. It has two cantilever signals which is rare in NSW. Check out the bell placement, this signal has none https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-32.884 ... 312!8i6656
while this signal has 2 Safetran type 3's, notice where the rear facing lights are mounted and how they ran the wires to them!

https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-32.883 ... 312!8i6656
back in 2010 it had 2 Westinghouse hybrid bells https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-32.883 ... 312!8i6656

This crossing at Carrington is a very long one that runs through an intersection

https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-32.911 ... 312!8i6656
Although it has more boring Safetran type 3 e-bells now, check out what it had back in 2010
A teardrop bell which looks like a Westinghouse https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-32.911 ... 312!8i6656
and a WCH mechanical bell https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-32.910 ... 312!8i6656
one of the signal maintainers is waving to the google car https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-32.910 ... 312!8i6656

These crossings are on a private spur line which runs into the Goninan facility, they manufacture locomotives and rolling stock.
This one has the old triangles below the crossbucks, Give Way sings are now used instead. It looks like there are workers waiting to flag the crossing, they must be expecting a train as the gates are open.

The next crossing https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-32.913 ... 312!8i6656

Hold on, didn't they closed the line to Newcastle in 2014?

Only a small part of the line (about 3km I think) in the middle of the city, it was on a dead end and was between Wickham and Newcastle passenger stations. The rest of the rail network is still operational.
