Now I only have one more signalized crossing in Madison County to record and I'll have recorded every signalized crossing in Madison County! Save for a signalized private crossing located behind a business, that is.

Only noticeable change here as of 12-8-21 was that both gate arms here were replaced with newer ones.

After catching 288 in Huntsville, I decided to hop on I-565 and chase it east so I could get some more shots of NS 4000 on it. I decided to chase it east to this crossing in Gurley, as I thought it'd make for a good angle here. Here we see NS 288 flying past for the second time on this day.

It appears that sometime earlier in 2024, the original GS Type 2 e-bell on the closer signal died, so NS replaced it with the current GS Type 3 e-bell. Thankfully, nothing else appears to have changed to these 2000s NS signals since I last recorded them. I suspect we'll be starting to see more of these 2000s NS installs having their bells replaced these days, given that they're all close to, if not over, 20 years old by now.
