Found these odd cantilever lights in Monte Vista, Colorado. They're spaced pretty far apart for some reason.

https://www.google.com.au/maps/@37.5830 ... 312!8i6656
Not to mention, there's 'Low Clearance' signs mounted on the cantilever itself!

https://www.google.com.au/maps/@37.5826 ... 312!8i6656
And finally, the bell at this crossing (a Safetran Mechanical bell) is mounted on the relay case.

Those are just another model of WRRS/FS/WCH cantilevers. Some crossings on the site have those.

Those aren't necessarily low clearance signs, but just generic ones (like those seen on bridges). Still an odd sight, nonetheless!
Crossing pictures from Plant City, FL are finally here! viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2538

Nope, those are actually traffic light mast-arms! Notice how the mast is all one piece. On WRRS/FS/WCH ones, they'd be in two pieces, like these:
http://www.rxrsignals.com/Alabama/Decatur/Moulton/

Here's a couple of these mast-arms in service holding traffic lights in Madison, WI:

https://www.google.com/maps/@43.0709887 ... authuser=0
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.0669248 ... authuser=0
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.0670724 ... authuser=0

Traffic signal enthusiasts/collectors often call these "Trombone Mast Arms". The ones I used are a slightly different style from the ones in the post, but they're close enough. It's likely that they've been retrofitted onto WRRS (Union Metal) cantilever bases.

Also, the bell appears to be a RACO/Griswold.
They/Them for me, please.

Is there any way to tell the difference between the two from the front?

The base. RACO/Griswold/Transport Products Corp. bells have a fancier base compared to a Safetran. For example:

Look at the base on the bell on the left (Safetran) and the base on the bell on the right (RACO). See the difference?

Thanks for that. I'll be sure to remember that next time... :CloseEye:

Fort Myers, Florida.

In 2014 the crossing looks like a typical one we see all over Florida:
https://www.google.com/maps/@26.449442, ... 6656?hl=en

In 2015 something has happened to the cantilever on this side of the road leaving no lights at all for these 2 lanes. :Scared:
https://www.google.com/maps/@26.4493969 ... 6656?hl=en
Notice there is a cantilever laying in pieces next to the tracks. It appears to be the same one that was there before, but hard to tell for sure.

In 2016 still no cantilever, but at least they did add a set of lights and a crossbuck to the gate mast that survived.
https://www.google.com/maps/@26.449422, ... 6656?hl=en
And the cantilever is STILL laying by the tracks in the same exact spot it appears. :Sneaky:

The new lights on the signal are 12x20 as well. How odd.
