This photo made me want to go take a look on Streetview. This is in Peru. Very American looking signals... all of them with WCH 12x20 lights!

3 gated signals at this crossing and 1 mast signal with lights. Plus, there a switch in the middle of all this too:

https://www.google.com/maps/@-17.648552 ... 312!8i6656

Pretty "normal" crossing except that a few of the lights are aimed a bit weird:

https://www.google.com/maps/@-17.657615 ... 312!8i6656

Here's another rather unusual intersection with 4 gates signals:

https://www.google.com/maps/@-17.630122 ... 312!8i6656

No gates at this crossing, with a few of lights aimed a bit weird:

It seems that several countries like copying U.S. crossing signals.

Australian and New Zealand signals already look identical enough already, now we've that Peru does the same thing too!

Yeah that has been on here :Tongue1: I do wonder though if there are any "normal" signals at all in the state.

For what it's worth though, even US territories (including Guam and American Samoa) follow through with the MUTCD, so it makes me wonder if any of the territories have US signals and crossbucks too.
Crossing pictures from Plant City, FL are finally here! viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2538

I'm pretty sure that this one on the Lahaina, Kaanapali and Pacific Railroad is the only public crossing with "normal" signals in Hawaii. It also has Safetran type-1 bells which is a bonus! :TUP2:

Puerto Rico is the only US territory with railways. There is this very strange yet interesting abandon signal in Puerto Rico. http://www.panoramio.com/photo/63441373
There is also this crossbuck (looks to be restored) that is also in English. http://www.panoramio.com/photo/48016030

And there is this one.
Image

There is also this one which has an English SORS sign but is also missing it's crossbuck.
http://www.panoramio.com/photo/48016030

But there is also this modern crossbuck and a strange white advance warning sign that are both in Spanish (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/48520622, http://www.panoramio.com/photo/48128314), the line is abandon (I think it is the same line that has these two: http://www.panoramio.com/photo/48016030 , http://www.panoramio.com/photo/48016030), I wonder if the reason that these newer signs are in Spanish but the older ones are in English is because the older ones might be from when English was the sole official language of Puerto Rico while the newer ones were installed after Puerto Rico adopted Spanish as an official language. Kind of cool that there are crossbuck in our country (as well as other MUTCD road signs) that are exactly like the MUTCD ones used in the mainland but are in Spanish instead of English. Although most people in American Samoa speak Samoan, and Samoan is an official language along with English but road signs there are in English. The same is also true for the Northern Mariana Islands, most people there speak a Philippine language and Chamorro but signs there are also in English.

It also appears that WCH/WRRS motor bells were once common in Puerto Rico! :TUP2:

This crossing has an extra signal (without lights) for a trail that runs right next to the crossing, the only bell located on the crossing is on the extra signal instead of being on the main signals for the road itself, I thought that was pretty interesting. The bell is a Safetran type 1 bell which is a bonus! :TUP2: I actually think I've posted this crossing here before as it looks familar.

This doesn't seem like a crossing that you would expect to be bell-less.
