I am using one right now at school and I like it so far. I recommend trying it at least once if you never used one.

I'm on one right now.

There are a few things about Windows machines that I prefer but other than that it's been a great machine. Apple customer service is fantastic, also. The case cracked around the touchpad and the computer was three months out of warranty. Despite that, Apple paid 100% for it to be replaced. They are more than :Okay: in my book.

I'm eventually going to buy an Apple desktop for financial stuff, etc. when I get my career on track (pun intended) and get a house.
You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.

Nope, once I was done with school, I was pretty much done with Apples. I held on to a Performa 410 up until 98... and then I pieced together a PC Tower with stuff that was far out of the price range of a mac to do at the time. Dumped the tower in 03 and been strictly a laptop user since then. (Although I do have some pieces of towers I've saved from my job... I would eventually like to piece together a modest tower simply to store music for djing and run karaoke off of, as I run my own business on the side doing dj/karaoke for weddings, bars, parties, etc...)
Well, :Censored:

The last Apple I used was in 1990 when I worked part time at a golf course. It was an Apple IIe that they had purchased from a school that had closed down. Luckily I had some experience with those from when I was in high school in the mid 80's, so they enjoyed me being there to help work on it.

It's funny how even 20 or so years ago computers were few and far between. We've come a long way.

I have used the one my parents purchased in December 2007. I must say I don't think it lives up to the hype put forth in those Mac ads. It is just as prone to freeze-ups, program crashes and occasional boot failures as my HP laptop with Windows Vista that I got five months later. They're both computers, therefore they both have issues sometimes.
