Those gate mechanisms are probably from before the gate mechanisms that we see nowadays even existed! :cool:

HOLY COW!!! I had only seen gate mechanisms like that in old historic photos from 70-80+ years ago!!! Amazing find! :Scared:

Although common on Metro tracks, wishbone gates are near impossible to find on V/line tracks (ironically, pretty much all RFR crossing upgrades in the mid 2000's used them). However, this crossing on Yarra Street in South Geelong still has them!

Same here! Though I had found one tucked away inside the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum.

Here is a pedestrian gate in Jackman, Maine. This kind of looks familiar so it may have been posted before.

Yeah that's been here before, haha.

I still don't like what they did with the one across the road though by attaching a regular gate to the A-frame holder :Sneaky:
