There's a bunch of level crossings along the Pakenham and Gippsland line which were upgraded from Flashing Lights, to Boom Gates years ago, but keep several of the extra gateless signals on the opposite side of the road. I can tell judging by the painted signal masts and hats on top of the signal.
Here's one in Officer, notice how the signal mast has been painted?

I'm guessing that there used to be an extra set of lights mounted on the signal.

Down at McGregor Road in Pakenham, there's this gateless signal which looks to have a McK&H base.

Main Street has three of them, one of which has a tall signal hat and McK&H lights!

Now for something different. A very unusual crossing located between Drouin and Warragul. One track runs under the road, the other crosses it!

This crossing has both a Safetran Type 3 and a Westinghouse Hybrid!

This signal has lights mounted above the crossbuck!

I guess this sign warns that trains can come from either direction.

A more recent image showing the crossing upgraded with gates. One of the signals still have the lights mounted above the crossbuck!

Here's a private driveway crossing. I guess that they have gates here because trains run up to 160km/h along here.

Looks like new signals are about to go in.

There used to be a crossing that provided entrance to the station in Seymour. However, it was closed around early 2008. Here it is in Street View shortly after this happened.

I also found a clear picture of this crossing on Vicsig (taken by James Hansen). Turns out it had a WRRS bell on one side! Thanks whoever closed that crossing.
Also found this one of the Mundy Street crossing in Bendigo (again, all credit should go to James Hansen). In April 2007, it had TWO Teardrop bells and the original gate mechs!
By December, V/line trashed the crossing.

This crossing in Traralgon also had two Teardrop bells in 2006 (once again, all credit should go to James Hansen). I'm guessing they were reused from another crossing as this install looks to be from the late 80's or early 90's.
V/Trash also did it's trademark butchering on this crossing by early 2008.

Found another crossing in Wodonga with a Safetran Bell.

Staying in Wodonga, here's a crossing with Harmon Gate Mechs.

More Harmon Gate Mechs!

Sadly, the opening of the Rail Bypass spelt the end for most of the crossings in the area.
However, this crossing still has track in the road! (Sadly, without the crossing signals.)

A case of the old and the new. This out of service crossing in Lara has a newer 'Crossing Ahead' warning sign and an upside down hazard triangle!

The actual crossing.
