CSX Upgrades?

Was talking on the FECRailway Yahoo group and they mentioned that CSX is doing trackwork in the Homestead Sub. Well that is no surprise as my photos of 88th street, gone much to misfortune, showed a set of tracks ready to replace the 75lb main. They said that most of the crossings are getting upgraded, that sounds good, I gotta go check out those crossings. I'll have to retake the up to date photos of crossings recently added or enhanced, like the gone teardrop bell crossing

That'll be my first contribution. Sorry it took so long Mike, lots of projects.

CSX has ben doing some stuff here in cantonment. They've been adding more LED equipment like Ball LED's and RECO LED Gate lights, and recently, they upgraded Archer Rd, they added a crossbuck to one of 3 signals that didn't have one and they replaced a Modern Industry M Bell with a GS Type 2 E Bell...

One thing I did notice was that light upgrades recently did not convert to LEDs. The ill-fated, now gone teardrop crossing's replacement had brand new Safetran Incandescents.

Maybe these upgrades will ensure LEDS?

Ball LEDs....

One upgrade was spotted, in fact it's pennent cantilever was gone. It has dialight ball leds on a new Lincoln Ind. Cantilever.

I do not know what happened initially to that pennent cantilever. On January 9th the pennent cantilever was missing when I passed the crossing.
