The Fremont & Elkhorn Valley railroad operates on the active part of the in Hopper north of where the junction use to be if I'm not mistaking.

Looks like the BNSF crossing has been upgraded to have a pair of gated signals as well. Maybe UP will soon be tearing out their crossing?

There's no way that line gets use at that crossing there though, as this one to the north was in similar shape when street view came through:

I was referring to the part in downtown Hopper, obviously it wouldn't be a long ride but that was just the assumption that I made.

Even looking through that area where the Fremont & Elkhorn Valley Railroad has operations, it still looks like the line either sees little-to-no usage at all, or has fallen under. The tracks are essentially overrun with grass if you look at Street View.
