Looks to have been a nice crossing originally with the cats-eyed crossbucks and 8 inch lights.ZachL wrote:That one is looooong gone, by about five years now.LARDLOGO wrote:CalTrain297 already posted a photo, but here's the GSV link for the former Teardrop on Busch Blvd in Tampa

It definitely was! That crossing had the only cantilevers in that style around the whole area in addition to being the only spot to find cats-eyed crossbucks too.freebrickproductions wrote:Looks to have been a nice crossing originally with the cats-eyed crossbucks and 8 inch lights.ZachL wrote:That one is looooong gone, by about five years now.LARDLOGO wrote:CalTrain297 already posted a photo, but here's the GSV link for the former Teardrop on Busch Blvd in Tampa

The southern part of that line has little-to-no "CSX" installs on it, such as having these rounded Safetran "bridge" cantilevers!freebrickproductions wrote:Yea, those WRRS cantilevers are getting hard to find these days...ZachL wrote:It definitely was! Re: Locations Of Currently Existing US&S TEARDROPS
Sorry... we are getting quite off subject for this post... but it is a goal of mine at some point to get some of those older crossings in south Tampa in action. Unfortunately the ONLY time I have seen a train on that line in the last 2 1/2 years was at 1:30 in the morning on my way home from a concert.

Re: Locations Of Currently Existing US&S TEARDROPS
Maybe you could ask on in a Tampa-are Railfanning Group on Facebook what time the locals usually operate through there? I know Millennium Force has managed to get them operating along that line a few times.cabman701 wrote:Sorry... we are getting quite off subject for this post... but it is a goal of mine at some point to get some of those older crossings in south Tampa in action.
