There is a rather grainy video of this crossing in action a few years back. This is the signal on the other side of the intersection from your Google link it looks like.
This one down a few blocks is just as long it looks like... if not a bit longer. And the mast is a "normal" size one with only one gate keeper (instead of 3).

Of course you can tell they extended it by putting part of an old-style gate on a standard new-style gate:
