"STREETCAR CROSSING"

Post by ToledoRailfan »

I've never seen this before! You can tell the "STREETCAR" piece is custom or homemade, still pretty interesting none of the less.

This is on the Old Pueblo Trolley.

Huh, this is interesting even though I don't believe it is for the streetcar.

Ah, I think I know why.

Wow, this looks like a pretty large system! I'm surprised that I haven't heard of it before.

So after reading Wikipedia and based on my observations (this isn't an edit by the way, you'll know when I make a significant edit to a post because I write "Edit:" in red.) the
Old Pueblo Trolley have suspended their heritage streetcar for the new Sun Link streetcar system.

Never hurts to have crossbucks that are more specific as to the type of railroad operates over the crossing! :TUP2: Just like the "TRAMWAY CROSSING" crossbucks in Australia. Although Freight Car crossing sounds a bit weird.

But it was trendy/makes sense if there's something to be specific about. :LOL3:

Some of the older members might remember this one in Alaska.

Wow, me too! Or the Floodgate Crossing in Cincinnati... although that's had its crossbucks removed and replaced with plain rectangular signs. :CloseEye:

Down the taxiway there are these signals that flash continuously.
