Sick yodalarms in Merseyside.

Post by NathanFromEngland »

Here is a bunch of videos showing sick yodalarms on the Merseyrail Northern and Wirral Line.
If there is a asterisk after the name of the crossing. This means the yodalarm has been fixed.
A question mark (?) means i do not know the fate of the yodalarm if it is a crossing i have visited.
A (V) means it is a crossing i have visited and i know what has happened.
Considering there is a lot of this sick e-bell topic, why not go to Great Britain?

Hall Road Railway Station, Blundellsands (V)

December 2014

May 2016:

Hoylake Railway Station: West Kirkby

July 2014: (I actually liked the pitch!)

November 2014:

May 2016:

Portland Street: Dukes (?)
June 2015:

I visited this crossing between July and September 2015, but forgot to bring my new HD camera with me, i didn't even have a tripod either. Maybe i should get one before travelling to Orlando.

Birkdale Railway Station: Southport*
June 2015:
May 2016:

Compare the yodalarm to this yodalarm!
The yodalarm never sounded like this!
August 2013:

November 2008:

This crossing has since been replaced with a MCB-OD

Anyway, back to the main topic.

Leasowe Railway Station, Wirral.
This crossing went through several changes with its yodalarms,
January 2012:

April 2012: (Night Mode)

June 2013: (I wonder why they sound different? Surely they couldn't have been replaced!)

Waterloo Railway Station, Crosby.
December 2014:

May 2016: (Not much difference!)

Maghull Railway Station: Maghull.
These alarms were very spooky sounding back in December 2014!

Not much difference in April 2016!

Formby: Formby
January 2015:

May 2016: (One of the alarms had died!)

October 2016: (The dead yodalarm is still dead)

And finally... Ainsdale Railway Station: Southport.
Fun Fact: This was the last crossing to receive Unipart Rail LED's on the Merseyrail sometime in 2015:
March 2012:

January 2015: (It didn't sound that sick)

May 2016: (They sound freaky now! One sounds like Portland Street but slightly faster!)

The End.
