This is one of only 4 or 5 crossings remaining in NSW with Harmon gate mechs!



These signals were installed on July 4, 1988 when the crossing was upgraded from passive to active protection. There are 2 WCH m-bells, the southern one rings until the gates lower, while the northern bell rings until the gates rise.

The most recent GSV image is from 2010. Not much has changed since, although the southern gated signal now has newer United Group lights https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-34.287 ... 312!8i6656

Originally the crossing had a third track, it was removed some time ago but had a separate pair of flashing lights for northbound traffic. The concrete signal base can still be seen in 2010, although it has now been removed.
