Old pair of Safetran 8-inch lights with WABCO AL-70 Gate Mechanisms. One signal has a General Signals Type 2 E-Bell and the other signal has a Safetran Type 3.

Another pair, but one signal has a Western Cullen Hayes E-Bell and the other signal has a Safetran Mechanical Bell.

Those EM mechanisms and cantilevers are likely Safetran-made as well.NathanFromEngland wrote:Classic Griswold Gate Mechanisms with Safetran 8 inch lights and RACO cantilevers.

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
Judging by the position of the footbridge and the barrier, i guess that is the signal is mounted at on the other side. They wouldn't be able to put a light extension on it, as a truck or a bus could knock it off and damage it.ToledoRailfan wrote:Kind of an odd setup.

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
These searchlights look brand new for some reason.

Looks like a young adult died at this crossing!
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.1827969 ... 312!8i6656
These sort of setups to WABCO AL-75's gate mechanisms just look horrible in my opinion. They look like budget crossing signals.

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
Here is an interesting crossing, I'm not sure if it is abandon or not.

This nearby hand operated crossing is pretty interesting as well.

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
Based on all the trash lying on the tracks, I'd say it's a good chance that is abandoned.ToledoRailfan wrote:Here is an interesting crossing, I'm not sure if it is abandon or not.
