That is Ashland, Virgina. Not sure how you could check Google Maps if you don't know where it is. There is actually a live camera there now interestingly enough. Pretty cool that you went there!

Yep, it's Ashland! Interestingly I was approaching the crossing and there was a CSX train headed south on one track and then an Amtrak train immediately after on the other.
The CSX RF&P Sub, a very busy line that requires cab signals, so good luck getting anything good leading there. Did you get any photos of the crossings?
