Talk about other non-signal stuff here. Make sure to obey the rules though.

Its a Pedestrian User Friendly Intelligent Crossing. (Puffin Crossing)
I suppose there are more awkward acronyms out there, such as the High-Intensity Activated crossWalK signal, or HAWK signal for short... (Though it's apparently a "beacon"...)
They/Them for me, please.

What the?!

I've seen images of a second streetview car folliwing behind the main one but that is just crazy!

Speaking of the streetview car, I saw it the other day in my neighborhood. It was kind of in the same place that I saw it a year and a half ago. I think those are the only times I've seen it.

Yes it's very odd, wonder if it was some kind of training exercise, or maybe they were just meeting up somewhere for lunch :LOL4:

Never seen the google car in person but I've often wondered if they operate on a fixed schedule, and who decides where they go and how often.

I've wondered that as well. It would be interesting to know.

This is about the area where the infamous "Mad Max" hacksaw scene was filmed. Gellies Rd, Wildwood, VIC (near Sunbury).

You find those occasionally here in Alabama and Tennessee, mostly over railroads.
They/Them for me, please.
