K5HL is the only acceptable one of the 5; all the others sound off tune.

The first one is one of the best horns I've ever heard!

It has a low, rich D minor note that I can't get enough of!

But, I still can't figure out
WHY THE THEY ARE MOUNTED BACKWARDS, WITH ONLY 1 BELL FACING FORWARD!

On the upside, it does make for some unusual effects; it gets louder as it begins to recede from you!

What Tommy calls K5HLLs:

are the exactly tuned K5HLs, using the 1, 1L, 2, 3, & 4 bells, and sounding a D minor chord.

This one, which is my favorite type of GEVO horn:

is actually a K5[H]L/K5[L]LA hybrid,
using the 1, 1L, 2, 3, & 4A bells, and sounding halfway between D minor & B major.
